Our farm shop sits right here on the Taylor family farm in the Eden Valley, just a few miles outside Penrith. It’s home to the full Eden Yard range alongside a carefully chosen collection of food, drink and produce from brilliant local growers, makers and independent businesses.
Some things come from our fields. Others come from our neighbours. Everything earns its place on the shelf.
From our farm
Naturally, you’ll find plenty of Eden Yard. Our cold-pressed rapeseed oils and stoneground flour sit alongside an ever-changing selection of produce grown and raised right here on the farm – from potatoes and honey to our own Hereford beef and Suffolk lamb. Fresh sourdough bread arrives daily each morning from Lovingly Artisan, all made with grains we have grown on our farm.
Then there’s The Veg Patch, just a few metres from the shop. Seasonal vegetables are grown across outdoor beds and polytunnels with zero inputs, supported by an adjacent nature area complete with pond and beehive. Rainwater harvested from our farm sheds helps keep everything growing, while the vegetables are cut fresh each morning and brought straight into the shop. What’s available changes with the weather, the seasons and what’s ready to pick – which is exactly how we think it should be.
Buying from the farm shop means buying right where the story starts – surrounded by the fields, animals and crops that produce much of what you’ll find on the shelves.
Grown here. Raised here. Picked this morning. You can’t get much more local than that.

We might be farmers, but we’re also enthusiastic eaters.
Cumbria is full of people growing, baking, brewing, making and creating exceptional things, and our farm shop gives us a chance to bring some of our favourites together under one roof.
We choose products because they’re good, not because they tick a box. We look for great ingredients, proper provenance and independent producers who care about what they’re making.
The result is a collection that changes, evolves and gives you a good reason to have another look next time you’re passing.

And when we say local, we mean it. Everything in our farm shop comes from a Cumbrian producer. Farmers, growers, bakers, makers and independent businesses from across the county, all brought together under one roof.
It means every pound spent here helps support the local economy, local employment and the people making brilliant things on our doorstep.
